2. Collection and storage of personal data and the nature and purpose of its use

a) When visiting the website
When you access our website http://www.fr-logistik.com, information is automatically sent by the browser used on your device to our website server. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without any action on your part and stored until it is automatically deleted:

IP address of the requesting computer, date and time of access, name and URL of the file retrieved, website from which access is made (referrer URL), browser used and, if applicable, your computer’s operating system, as well as the name of your access provider.

We process the above data for the following purposes:

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the purposes for data collection listed above. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

b) When subscribing to our newsletter
If you have expressly consented pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR, we will use your email address to send you our newsletter on a regular basis. Providing an email address is sufficient to receive the newsletter.
You can unsubscribe at any time, for example via a link at the end of each newsletter. Alternatively, you may also send your request to unsubscribe at any time by email to info@fr-logistik.com.

c) When using our contact or transport enquiry form

If you have questions of any kind, we offer you the opportunity to contact us via a form
provided on the website. Providing a valid email address and your first and last name is required so that we know who the enquiry is from and can respond to it.

Further information may be provided voluntarily in the text field with your individual request.

Data processing for the purpose of contacting us is carried out pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. a GDPR on the basis of your voluntarily given consent.

Data transmitted via the contact form will remain with us until you request deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or there is no longer any need to store the data. Mandatory statutory provisions—especially retention periods—remain unaffected.

3. Disclosure of data

Your personal data will not be transferred to third parties for purposes other than those listed below.

4. Cookies
We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when you visit our site. Cookies do not cause any damage to your device and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malware.

5. Analytics tools
a) Tracking tools
The tracking measures listed below and used by us are carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR. With the tracking measures used, we aim to ensure a needs-based design and the ongoing optimisation of our website. We also use tracking measures to statistically record the use of our website and to evaluate it for the purpose of optimising our services for you. These interests are to be regarded as legitimate within the meaning of the aforementioned provision.

i) Google Analytics

For the purpose of needs-based design and ongoing optimisation of our pages, we use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (https://www.google.de/intl/de/about/) (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; hereinafter “Google”).

In this context, pseudonymised user profiles are created and cookies (see section 4) are used. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website, such as browser type/version, operating system used, referrer URL (the previously visited page), host name of the accessing computer (IP address),
time of the server request, is transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to store your IP address. This information is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transmission.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offerings and to make it easy to find the locations specified by us on the website. This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6(1) lit. f GDPR.

6. Data subject rights

You have the right:

– pursuant to Art. 15 GDPR, to request information about your personal data processed by us. In particular, you may request information about the processing purposes, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom your data has been or will be disclosed, the planned storage period, the existence of a right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing or objection, the existence of a right to lodge a complaint, the origin of your data if it was not collected by us, and the existence of automated decision-making including profiling and, where applicable, meaningful information about its details;

– pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR, to request the immediate rectification of incorrect personal data stored by us or the completion of your personal data;

– pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR, to request the erasure of your personal data stored by us, unless processing is necessary for exercising the right to freedom of expression and information, for compliance with a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest, or for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims;

– pursuant to Art. 18 GDPR, to request the restriction of processing of your personal data insofar as the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful but you oppose erasure, we no longer need the data but you require it for the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims, or you have objected to processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR;

– pursuant to Art. 20 GDPR, to receive your personal data that you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format or to request transmission to another controller;

– pursuant to Art. 7(3) GDPR, to revoke your consent once given to us at any time. This means that we may no longer continue the data processing based on this consent in the future; and

– pursuant to Art. 77 GDPR, to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. As a rule, you can contact the supervisory authority of your usual place of residence or workplace, or of our company headquarters.

7. Right to object

If your personal data is processed on the basis of legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1) sentence 1 lit. f GDPR, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR, provided there are grounds for doing so arising from your particular situation or the objection is directed against direct marketing. In the latter case, you have a general right to object, which will be implemented by us without you having to state a particular situation.

8. Data security

During your visit to the website, we use the widely used SSL procedure (Secure Socket Layer) in conjunction with the highest level of encryption supported by your browser. As a rule, this is 256-bit encryption. If your browser does not support 256-bit encryption, we use 128-bit v3 technology instead. You can tell whether an individual page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form by the closed key or padlock symbol in the lower status bar of your browser.

We also use suitable technical and organisational security measures to protect your data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction, or unauthorised access by third parties. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technological developments.
